With 2025 at a close, we’ve been reflecting on what the year held — and honestly, it’s a lot to be proud of. It was a year of growth, new ideas, strong partnerships, and thousands of moments where technology found its way into the hands of someone who needed it.
From a brand new facility and a new internet program, to Techie Camps, community collaborations, and incredible corporate partners stepping up — 2025 was a year that proved what’s possible when a community comes together around a shared mission. Here are a few of the stories we’re carrying with us into the new year.

Finding New Destinations in 2025 📍
In 2025, AZ StRUT found itself heading in a few new directions — and they all pointed toward greater access.
A New Home Next to Treasures 4 Teachers
In 2025, AZ StRUT moved into a brand new space right next door to Treasures 4 Teachers — bringing our two organizations closer together in more ways than one. The move gave us more room to refurbish technology, organize donations, and better support the schools and community partners we serve across Arizona.
Just as importantly, it placed us alongside a longtime mission-aligned partner, creating new opportunities for collaboration, shared community events, and amplified impact for the students and educators who depend on both organizations.
Launching Our Internet Lending Program
In today’s world, staying connected is essential for daily life — for school, work, healthcare, and everything in between. That’s why in 2025, AZ StRUT launched our Internet Lending Program, a simple, no-contract option designed to provide individuals and families with reliable internet access at an affordable price.
We’ve already welcomed 50 subscribers, with many others signing up for just as long as they need a connection. It’s a flexible, low-barrier solution that meets people where they are — and it’s exactly the kind of gap we were built to help close.
Three Years Strong with APS Foundation! 💡
For the third year in a row, we’re proud to share that the APS Foundation has selected AZ StRUT’s Techie Lab Program as a grant recipient. Techie Labs give students at Title I schools the chance to build real tech skills, explore new interests, and see themselves in future STEM careers. We’re incredibly grateful to the APS Foundation for continuing to believe in this work — and in the students it supports.
Lasting Impact with Techie Camps ⚙️
One of the most powerful things AZ StRUT does is put technology in students’ hands — not just to use, but to understand. Our Techie Camp experiences bring that mission to life in classrooms and community spaces across Arizona.
St. Peter’s Indian Mission School
In partnership with Digital Connect and Gila River Telecommunications, we hosted a hands-on Hardware Techie Experience for 24 students at St. Peter’s Indian Mission School. Students explored core computer components, fully disassembled and reassembled a desktop computer, and gained real-world hardware skills.
Then they topped it all off by receiving refurbished laptops to take home and keep. That’s the full cycle — learning the technology, understanding it, and owning a piece of it. We’re building confidence, curiosity, and access to technology, one student at a time.
Community Collaboration: 100 Computers for Burk Elementary 💪
AZ StRUT recently joined forces with the Gilbert Rotary Club for a joyful day of giving at Burk Elementary School — and the result was something truly special.
While Rotary volunteers assembled 100 care packages filled with home essentials, our team rolled in with 100 refurbished computers, turning a single event into a full-circle support effort. Students left that day with not just supplies for home, but the tools they need to learn, grow, and stay connected. Together, we helped make sure every student walked away feeling supported and ready for 2026.
This is exactly the kind of community collaboration we believe in — organizations showing up together, combining their strengths, and making the whole greater than the sum of its parts.
Partner Spotlight: Sparklight Internet! 🛜
We are grateful to Sparklight Internet for their generous technology donation in 2025. Their contribution included over 200 laptops, 65 desktop computers, and 15 tablets — all destined for schools and community partners across Arizona.
These devices will be distributed to help bridge the digital divide and support learning, connectivity, and opportunity for Arizonans who need it most. Sparklight put it best themselves:
“At Sparklight, connectivity is more than internet. It’s an opportunity.”
Thanks to partners like Sparklight who believe in the power of connection, we’re able to get these devices into classrooms and homes across the state — opening doors to education, employment, and community for Arizonans in need. Thank you, Sparklight!
